The mission of the Air Force Association is to educate the public about the need for aerospace power and its role in a strong national defense, as well as to support the United States Air Force and the Air Force Family.

The Rhode Island State Air Force Association carries out the goals and objectives of the Air Force Association through its chapters and members at-large; supervises and coordinates the activities of Rhode Island chapters; and acts as an administrative liaison between the Air Force Association and the chapters of Rhode Island.
